Focus on : Must Do in
Venice (first Edition)
My ambition with this first series of “Must Do" films is to guide you though Venice while avoiding the touristy traps.
1/ Get lost
From the
Far East to the far of the city, off the main touristy tracks, Venice will offer you a culture shock.
The composition of the street due to the byzantine influence and relation with the water make this city a unique architectural treasure.
Places:
Castello, Biennale,
Dorsoduro, Giudecca,
North Cannaregio, Torcello…
2/ Eat and
Drink like a Local
Stop for a glass of wine like a local at
Estro. This place offers an amazing collection of natural wine.

Musica A
Palazzo
The opera is a travelling show and each act is set in a different hall of one of the most fascinating
Venetian palaces:
Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto.

Santa Maria dei Miracoli
Master piece of the early renaissance Santa Maria dei Miracoli knows as the marble church is my favourite church.
Pietro Lombardo has mixed
Florentin and venice renaisssance style where the love for colours shows.

5/ Oratorio dei crociferi
In the Cannaregio district a hidden gem: the
Oratory of the Crociferi revieling the master of
Jacopo Palma the
Young. No need to be a specialist to be submerged by the beauty of the place.

6/ It is a classic but a must:
Doge Palace
In a gothic style the
Doge’s Palace is a remarkable inversion of structure. The light arches are below the massive blind structure. A clear representation of the city on wooden columns and above the water, The palace of veneto-byzantine style was the residence of the rulers.
7/ Venice by night
Explore the city at night!
The Venetian have a good eye for detail and nearly each street is light up as a real film setting.
8/
San Zaccharia
Zan Zaccharia church is a real museum to not miss. You will find artwork of the greatest artists:
Bellini,
Tintoretto and
Tiepolo to only name few.
